The Wellington Dukes made it look easy in its two first tests of the Dudley Hewitt Cup easily subduing Wisconsin Wilderness 7-2 on Tuesday and then clipping the wings of the Soo Eagles 7-1 on Wednesday.

Crafty forward Steve Evans scored a combined five goals in the first two games.

The Dukes are getting set for a 7 p.m. tilt against the host Huntsville Otters tonight, likely a prequel to Saturday’s championship game.  The Otters also won both their previous two games. The winner of tonight’s game earns a bye to the championship game.
