Rare astronomical sight for early risers
A crescent sun rises above the horizon last Thursday morning as viewed from Prince Edward Point, making silhouettes of the wind turbines on Wolfe Is- land, 40 kilometres away. The partial solar eclipse was visible across much of eastern Canada, with observers in the far north being treated to a ring of fire eclipse.
