OPP investigating threatening incident

On October 28 at 10:51 a.m. officers with the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Prince Edward County detachment attended a residence on Loyalist Parkway, east of the Town of Wellington regarding a report of a threatening incident.

The victim, a male adult, was on his property when he was confronted by an unknown man and was threatened.  The suspect then left the property in a vehicle operated by another male.  As the suspect vehicle fled, it proceeded through a stop sign almost causing a collision with a small red car.  The suspect vehicle continued travelling in the direction of the Town of Bloomfield.

The descriptions of the suspects are:
• Suspect Driver
-Male, Caucasian, wearing a black coloured ball cap.

• Suspect Passenger
–  Male, Caucasian, approx. 6’ or taller, average build, wearing a skull cap, black jacket and blue jeans.

• Suspect Vehicle
– an older Ford pick-up truck grey or silver in colour.

Anyone with information regarding this incident, particularly the operator of the red car is asked to contact the Ontario Provincial Police, Prince Edward County detachment at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).

The police investigation is continuing.
