Giant sculpture unveiled at Base31

(L-R): Laurence Vallières and Krista Dalby mimic the pose of the giant cardboard birds sculpture now on display adjacent to Melt Studio and Gallery at Base31. The sculpture was designed by Vallières, who asked for Dalby’s assistance to complete the project in a short timeframe. A small mountain of cardboard, donated by the community, was used to build the giant sculpture.
