Four market areas in the circa 1860s red barn and adjacent buildings were decked out with 60 local purveyors showcasing their wares at the start of December. Nearly 5,000 shoppers came through to browse handmade goods from local entrepreneurs and County artisans selling everything from blown glass to cheese boards and bow ties to fruitcakes. Some vendors reported their best sales days ever, with a lot of customers coming from outside the County, spending their Christmas dollars with local small businesses.

New and returning vendors included Quilts by Bill, Lalaland Glass, Ontario Street Pottery, Cardinal Farmhouse, County 7 Wood N’ Clay, Nebula Organics, The County Chocolatier, Mohawk Soda Co, Honey Pie Hives & Herbals and many more.

The Eddie’s own ornament shop featured five themed trees with curated ornaments and holiday decor for everyone from animal enthusiasts to wine lovers.

Food and drinks were provided by Kinsip Cocktails, Wild Lot, Big Mike’s BBQ, Adnan’s Falafel, Kia Ora Pies and Peg’s Patties. The Naughty Elf Bar served bratwurst on a bun, mulled wine, hot cider, local beer, wine and aperol spritz, and new this year, dress your own hot chocolate, with a spiked version for adults.

The family- and dog-friendly market also had a children’s play area and Santa visits on Saturday and Sunday.

Mark your calendars for next year’s market which will take place on November 28, 29 and 30, 2025, with the Sunday being geared toward families.
