A day of family fun in Consecon

A young racer joyfully speeds down Consecon Main Street during the soapbox derby on Saturday. Thirty-four kids took part in the event, which offered cash prizes for the top three finishers in three age categories, as well as trophies for the fastest times. The Consecon Day festivities continued in the village with a petting zoo, games in the park, barbecues and live music through the day.
