An evening of heartfelt music at Base31

Juno nominated singer-songwriter Tanika Charles performs in the Sergeants Mess Hall in Base31 last Friday evening. Accompanied by her four-piece band, she performed songs that range from deeply emotional to pulsating dance rhythms. She shared the stories behind the songs that dealt with heartbreak, family dynamics and, ultimately, self-empowerment.
