Large crowd gathers for signature parade
Wendy Chapman and granddaughter Addie enjoy some post-parade time in the park during Pumpkinfest on Saturday. The parade drew a large crowd to Wellington Main Street, and many stayed to enjoy events in the park as well as at CML Snider School and the Farmers’ Market. Well over 100 people came to watch the weighing and measuring of the giant vegetables later that afternoon. Jim and Kelsey Bryson of Ormstown took top honours with a 1,891 pound pumpkin.
