Two-day Lantern Festival a big success

Lead MC Matt Somber of Bangerz Brass performs at the Crystal Palace on Saturday night. The group combines traditional brass instruments with contemporary hip-hop. The Firelight Lantern Festival kicked-off with a Friday night adults only dance party, followed by the traditional Saturday evening lantern parade along Main Street in Picton. A fire-spinner, an aerial acrobat and a shadow puppet show complemented the music on Saturday night.
