Monitoring program at Prince Edward Point

Queen’s U student Mikaela Nauman holds a purple finch that has just been banded at the Prince Edward Point Bird Observatory as part of the spring migration monitoring program. The data collected helps researchers evaluate the health of the bird population and the long-term trends. The Spring Birding Festival takes place at the Observatory from May 12 to 15.
