The 2017 Nissan Murano

Combining comfort with advanced safety and handling features, the 2017 Nissan Murano was built for County living. Nissan has invested a lot of technical and engineering know-how into the Murano, including the design of the driver and passenger seats. Inspired by NASA, the zero gravity seats embrace the driver securely with continuous support to the legs and back. The comfort doesn’t stop in the front seat—rear seats are heated and come equipped with USB smartphone interface so rear passengers can charge their phones and play music. This is a car built for road trips.

The Murano also features intuitive all-wheel drive—judging road and driving conditions and adjusting on the fly. It comes equipped with forward emergency braking that detects danger of collision with a vehicle or pedestrians ahead. It first sounds an audible warning and if not heeded, this system applies an emergency brake and decelerates to either help avoid a collision, or reduce the damage caused by a collision should one be unavoidable.

The Nissan Murano’s AroundView Monitor uses four cameras to provide a 360-degree view of your vehicle. It also features the Nissan Advanced Drive Assist Display: daily commutes, traffic jams, turn by turn directions, caller ID and more all on the dash right in front of the steering wheel.

The model The Times tested was powered by a 260- horsepower powerplant that moved nimbly when called upon through Belleville construction. While Nissan Murano drivers appreciate the power at their fingertips, it is the sense of comfort and safety that seduces them behind the wheel and onto the open road.
