Citizen scientist Matt Christie, who has a degree in entomology, examines a specimen during a 24-hour inventory of species at the Hudgin-Rose property on the County’s south shore. A team of subject matter experts catalogued dozens of species of birds, insects, plants and reptiles during the annual survey.
