Maple in the County

Arrival of spring is heralded by the sweet smell of maple sap

(L-R): Chris and Jessie Armstrong with their son Oaklie at LOHA Farms on Saturday during Maple in the County. Hundreds of visitors showed up to enjoy a pancake breakfast with lots of fresh-made maple syrup. Visitors had the opportunity for a walk through the sugar bush as well as the barnyard, which had sheep, hens and an inquisitive pot-bellied pig.
