Well-known naturalist Terry Sprague opened the Spring Birding Festival with a webinar presentation last Wednesday on how to attract birds and bees and other wildlife to your backyard spaces. Even a small garden can entice a wide variety of birds to visit by planting native species of flowers and having a bird feeder or bird bath.
