Wellington’s harbour is full of interesting wildlife

A great blue heron has a friendly race with another feathered creature along the channel in Wellington. Herons lay three to five eggs in April. Incubation, or warming of the eggs, starts with the laying of the first or second egg and lasts about 28 days, so the harbour might have some young, new visitors very soon.
