PECFN watches Wellington waterfowl

Marigold pauses for a moment during her viewing of Wellington’s waterfowl on Saturday afternoon in an event led by experienced birdwatchers from the Prince Edward County Field Naturalists. Several scopes were set up to get a closer look at the winter inhabitants of the protected harbour. Among them were a family of trumpeter swans, with three first-year cygnets, which were Marigold’s favourites.
