MPP Smith speaks to service group members

Ontario Energy Minister and Bay of Quinte MPP Todd Smith speaks to members of area service groups at the Waring House last Thursday morning. He gave an update of his recent work internationally and across Canada in promoting the use of Small Modular Reactors for emissions-free electricity generation, and as a way to meet Ontario’s increasing industrial electric power needs. He also spoke about the provincial government’s initiatives in education, health care and mental health, and efforts to address the shortage of affordable housing.
