Celebrating the year’s first harvest

Five of the County’s maple syrup producers and their families gather at LOHA Farms to kick off the 21st edition of Maple in the County, which takes place on March 29 and 30. Despite a late start to the season, syrup production is now in full swing. Visitors to participating sugarbushes can walk through maple woods, tour a sap house, sample various grades of maple syrup, enjoy pancake breakfasts or maple butter on an English muffin, and see a lumberjack in action.
