Indie rock band thrills audience in revamped Base31 Drill Hall

Keyboardist Graham Wright from the Tokyo Police Club band performs on stage in the revamped Drill Hall at Base31 on Saturday night. The band, which was formed in 2005 in Newmarket, Ontario, announced last year that it was splitting up. This was the first stop on its monthslong farewell tour that will include a performance in London’s Trafalgar Square on June 30. There are other appearances across Canada and the US, with the final show in Toronto on November 29.
