Didn’t happen
A vicious and violent sexual assault in Picton reported last Saturday morning did not happen, according the OPP.
Police are now saying that no assault occurred. A woman was admitted to hospital but has since been released. Police say there are no suspects.
Portions of the investigation are continuing, said OPP Sgt. Kristine Rae.
looks like someone is hiding something
The OPP commentary on this new development regarding the sexual assault allegations that shook the region last week is woefully inadequate. Was this instead a domestic assault? Self-inflicted harm? Other? The community of Prince Edward County needs to know. I’m sure many in the region are awaiting further details and context; the OPP owes the region this.
