Life threatening injuries

A 43 year old Stirling man is fighting for his life after his motorcycle collided with a camper trailer near Sandbanks Provincial Park late in the afternoon on Friday. His 40-year-old female passenger, from Picton, is in hospital suffering from non-life threatening injuries.

The police investigation revealed that a motorcycle travelling North bound on County Road 18, near Outlet Road, had entered the South bound lane colliding with a camper trailer being towed by a pick-up truck.

Officers from the OPP and the PEC Fire Department and Paramedics responded to the collision.

The police investigation is continuing.
