Shatterbox Theatre stages eye-opening play at The Andrew

Robin Snip (as Henrietta Swan Leavitt) expresses her frustration upon being refused use of the telescope at Harvard College Observatory after being hired to work there in 1903. Shatterbox Theatre is staging the play Silent Sky at The Andrew. The play explores the life of Ms. Leavitt and shows how her work changed astronomers’ understanding about the size of the universe.
