Around the County
Square Foot Art Show
Artists help to protect the environment
Artist Sarah McCarthy stands in the Back Room Gallery at Arts on Main during the launch of the inaugural SSJI Square Foot Art Show and Sale. Twenty-nine County artists contributed pieces measuring one foot square in a fundraiser for SSJI, which has a vision of protecting and preserving the last stretch of undeveloped shoreline on the Canadian side of Lake Ontario. Ms. McCarthy’s piece, a view of the village of Milford, was sold on the opening day.
Sarah has a compassion for nature and preserving the environment for us to enjoy. She displays her talent with detail and heart in all she creates, and inturn wishes to save what little undisturbed shorelines left as one example.
THANK YOU, SARAH !!!
Very cool Sarah!!!
